But I've seen quite a few hideous injuries to the face from woodland including the obligatory tooth loss as well as some deep flesh wounds were people have stuck their head around a corner and been pelted from feet away. CQB must be much worse. Don't most CQB sites insist on full face?

Just worth thinking about I reckon as I really don't think everyone who plays at our games has the gumption to fire low and lightly.

nope... full face not required at most CQB sites...

Its true face hits are more likely and as will all airsoft full face is a good idea and is recommended.

However merely keeping your mouth shut will stop the worst effects...

Full face is not a requirement for UCAP, though recommended. The same goes for helmets. There is a lot of stuff to bump you head into down in those dark tunnels. We should make this VERY clear to players when the booking thread goes up. They will most likely get shot in the face at some stage of the day. Any complaining about it if they go against the full-face and helmet recommendations will be looked on dimly.

I'll be going for ESS goggles, Helmet and gum shield. I absolutely detest full-face masks.

Perhaps we advise strongly:

This gaming arena is a close range CQB environment.

Comrades in Arms do not require you t wear full face protection but we would advise those choosing not to to purchase a gum shield (add link to cheep gumshileds)

We also encourage the use of helmets for this event.

I reckon we leave it to UCAP... they must have a wording somewhere on the site about this. We can refer people to it.

Otherwise we're the ones giving out the advice... I'd prefer not to be liable as a result...
